This might be the best sunscreen I’ve ever used. I haven’t used any sunscreen for the longest time no matter how much I know about the importance of sunscreen because most sunscreen breaks me out like crazy! To be remembered: my skin is combination yet somehow acne-prone.
The texture is soooo light, it’s more of a liquid rather than creamy or lotion. You won’t even feel that you’re wearing any sunscreen. The product seems to sink in into the skin so fast! And it doesn’t leave a whitish trace to your skin and doesn’t leave oil either as most of sunscreen does!
Below is the picture of the texture that I took:
A lot of people complain that their sunscreen gives them break out. Most of it does tho! However, it’s not entirely the sunscreen’s “fault”. Most sunscreen is hard to be removed, using just a facial cleanser is not enough! That is why it clogs pores and gives us break outs! You have to use make up remover to completely remove it. However with Clarins UV Plus Protective Day Screen SPF 40, you don’t need make up remover to completely remove it, just facial cleanser is fine, unless you’re wearing make up.
The price is a bit pricey tho for such a small size. It’s only 30 ml! But it lasts quite sometime! I’ve been using it since March 15th (I know! I wrote it down in my calendar if I just started using a new skin care products to see the difference and to know how long it’s gonna last) and till today it’s still has quite amount of it that can last for about a month or so! Oh ya! And i think it makes my skin looks brighter too!
I didn’t think that I would switch to another brand for sunscreen. However, they discontinue this one and produce another one which is actually exactly the same with this one except that it has a new packaging, has a tinted one as well, and Expertise 3P??? I don’t really understand what is that. Oh yah! The size is the same but the price is more expensive!
So for that reason, I think I might switch to another brand that’s less expensive when mine is finished. But other than that it is a great product for a sunscreen!
